Local-first app
Reserve runs on your Mac and writes backups to storage you choose, such as a local folder, external drive, or mounted NAS volume.
No analytics or ad tech
Reserve does not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, ad networks, or a hosted user account system.
Permissions stay on-device
The app only works with the macOS permissions and folder access you explicitly grant.

Backups stay in plain files and folders so your data is not locked into a service-specific format.

Scope
This policy applies to the Reserve app for macOS and the website at reserveapps.com.
Information we do not collect
Reserve is designed to work without a hosted account. We do not collect analytics events, advertising identifiers, crash analytics tied to a user profile, or tracking data about how you use the app.
Information the app accesses on your device
If you choose to use Reserve, the app may access your Photos library, iCloud Drive files and folders, and the destination folder or mounted volume you select for backups. This access is used to read source files and write backup copies on your Mac.
How data is processed
Backup processing happens locally on your Mac. Reserve copies data from the sources you authorize to the destination you choose. The backup contents remain on storage you control.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Reserve does not send your backup contents to Reserve-operated servers because the product does not use a hosted backup service.
Website
The Reserve website is a public product site. It does not use third-party analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising widgets.
App Store purchases and downloads
If you download or purchase Reserve through Apple, Apple may process transaction and account data under Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
